Welcome to Edinburgh Labour Community Cohesion Taskforce

The Edinburgh Labour Party Community Cohesion Taskforce was created in order to provide a vehicle for all ethnic minorities to promote and project a positive image of ethnic minorities in Scotland particularly in Edinburgh and Lothians. Community Cohesion is what must happen in all communities to help different groups of people get on well together through the integration of new and existing residents. The Edinburgh Labour Party Community Cohesion Taskforce will work with all communities by focusing on what new and existing communities have in common, alongside a recognition of the value of diversity. 

The Edinburgh Labour Party Community Cohesion Taskforce will Promote Labour Party policies and beliefs amongst these groups to listen, understand, communicate and help resolve any issues which are affecting them as a community or individuals.
